Jason & Brittany’s Sweet Love Story
Jason and Brittany started dating in March 2014 and made their first public appearance together at the CMA Awards. Shortly after they announced their engagement on September 24, 2014 and married in March of 2015.
The “You Make It Easy” singer has frequently praised Brittany for being his “rock,” and often expresses his appreciation for his wife. Although she has largely stayed out of his professional career, she has gradually begun stepping back into music.
In 2012, before meeting Jason, Brittany auditioned for the 11th season of American Idol. She earned two approvals from judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler, and a no from Jennifer Lopez, moving her on to the next round of competition, but later eliminated during Hollywood week.
