Jack Osbourne and his wife, Aree, welcomed their daughter on March 5 at 8:49 am. The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post on March 11, revealing that their baby girl weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 19 inches long.

A Name That Honors Ozzy Osbourne
Jack Osbourne and Aree chose a name that carries deep family significance. Their daughter’s full name is Ozzy Matilda Osbourne.
The name pays tribute to Jack’s father, Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary frontman of Black Sabbath.
Although Ozzy passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76, his legacy continues through his music and now through his granddaughter’s name.
In a statement at the time of his passing, the family shared:
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
Ozzy had previously been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. His primary cause of death was later determined to be out of hospital cardiac arrest.
For the Osbourne family, naming the baby Ozzy is both a tribute and a way to carry that legacy forward.
