Zach Bryan has continued his ridiculing of Kid Rock and Turning Point USA’s alternative ‘All-American’ Super Bowl Half-Time show, donning the uproar surrounding Bad Bunny’s official Super Bowl LX Half-Time performance “embarrassing as hell”.
The ‘Something in the Orange’ hitmaker began by sharing a tongue-in-cheek reel recorded by his friend, Harley Carmichael, in which Harley mocks the alternative half-time show. Harley pretends to cover the Bad Bunny performance while watching the Turning Point USA live-stream on his phone. Bryan pointedly captioned it, “What kid rock actually thinks is happening across America”.
He then shared a photo with Harley, clarifying that he was just doing a sketch, and that he wasn’t really watching the Kid Rock, Gabby Barrett, Brantley Gilbert and Lee Brice sets, “Guys forgive my boy [Harley], free him, he is hemorhaging [sic] followers”.

The next morning, the ‘I Remember Everything’ chart-topper seemingly woek up to a torrent of Direct Messages criticising his Super Bowl posts, “Bro the irony in how upset a bunch of middle aged douchebags are in my DM’s this morning hahahahah”.
He went on to lambast TPUSA for putting on their alternative Half-Time show, “I don’t care what side you’re on, a bunch of adults throwing temper tantrums and their own halftime show is embarrassing as hell and the most cringe s*** on the planet”.
Kacey Musgraves echoed Bryan’s sentiments, sharing via X (formerly Twitter), “Well. That made me feel more proudly American than anything Kid Rock has ever done”.
The TPUSA concert has drawn widespread flak, with many commentators accusing the Conservative organisation’s ‘All-American’ Alternative Super Bowl Half-Time show as being motivated by political reasons and stemming from a place of intolerance.
The NFL’s decision to recruit Bad Bunny for the official Super Bowl LX Half-Time show in California last night (Sunday, February 8th) was generally celebrated, with the man affectionately known as Benito the most streamed artist on the planet.
But some criticised the choice of performer, due to the fact that Bad Bunny would be singing in Spanish rather than American English, and due to the ‘DtMF’ crooner being vocal in his denouncement of the Trump administration’s immigration policy.
Kid Rock is a close friend of Trump, which added fuel to detractors dismissing the TPUSA Half-Time alternative as merely a way of rebuking Bad Bunny’s anti-ICE messaging.
Ultimately, of course, Bad Bunny’s Half-Time performance outperformed the TPUSA alternative by a considerable amount, with Benito drawing 135 million viewers, while the Kid Rock-led ‘All-American’ show was watched live by a reported 4-6 million. Bad Bunny’s performance was permeated by a joyful, uplifting and unifying spirit. Rather than using the platform to foster further division or hatred, Benito concluded with the resounding message, “Together We Are America”.
