Miranda Lambert gave country fans a huge surprise when two familiar faces joined her onstage in South Dakota.
Lainey Wilson and Gretchen Wilson walked out during Miranda’s show at the 86th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Together, the three country stars delivered a high-energy performance of Gretchen’s classic hit, “Redneck Woman.”
Miranda Lambert Brings Out Two Surprise Guests
Miranda headlined the Full Throttle Saloon on August 11.
Her set already featured many of her biggest songs. However, the night became even more memorable when she welcomed Lainey and Gretchen to the stage.
The surprise brought together three generations of powerful female voices in country music.
Miranda’s longtime backup singer Gwen Sebastian also joined the performance.

The Crowd Gets A Surprise Performance Of “Redneck Woman”
The group chose a song almost every country fan knows.
Gretchen released “Redneck Woman” as her debut single in 2004. The song reached No. 1 and became her signature hit.
More than two decades later, the song still knows how to fire up a crowd.
This time, Miranda and Lainey helped Gretchen bring the anthem back to life in front of the massive Sturgis audience.
Video from the night captured the three singers sharing the stage as fans sang along.
Miranda Lambert And Lainey Wilson Already Share A Musical Connection
Lainey’s appearance alongside Miranda was especially fitting.
The two stars previously teamed up for “Good Horses,” a collaboration featured on Miranda’s Postcards from Texas album.
Their friendship has also continued beyond the recording studio.
At Sturgis, however, they had the chance to join another woman who helped define a different era of country music.
Gretchen Wilson Is Bringing Back A Country Classic
The performance comes at an interesting time for Gretchen.
She recently revealed plans to re-record her five-times-platinum debut album, “Here for the Party.”
The project will feature several special duet partners.
Ella Langley, Miranda Lambert, Cody Johnson, Travis Tritt, Ashley McBryde and others are expected to participate. An official release date has not yet been announced.
“Redneck Woman” originally appeared on that album.
Miranda Lambert Is Preparing New Music
Miranda also has new music on the way.
Her tenth studio album, “Crisco,” is scheduled for release on October 2.
The 12-song project will mix country music with disco-inspired sounds. Miranda released the title track in May.
For now, though, fans are talking about what happened at Sturgis.
Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson and Gretchen Wilson sharing one stage was already special.
Having them perform “Redneck Woman” together made the moment even better.
