The country music superstar shared the news on Thursday (May 14th) that she married her longtime love, former NFL star Devlin “Duck” Hodges, on May 10th. Their wedding was held at the Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tennessee.
“Duck and I were driving backroads in Tennessee and saw a billboard for The Ruskin Cave,” Lainey told Vogue. “Duck said, ‘You wanna get married there?’ I said, ‘Done deal.’ We dropped by, saw the venue, and fell in love with the natural beauty of the cave and the simplicity of the property.”
The bride ditched her traditional bell-bottoms for her wedding. Her stylist, Alexandra Mandelkorn, and the team at Oscar de la Renta joined forces to create a custom wedding dress for Wilson.
The beautiful gown was adorned with small Japanese cherry blossom embellishments. “The cherry blossom represents living in the moment, and that’s exactly what we did,” Wilson told Vogue.

The couple said “I do” on a cobblestone ledge next to a waterfall. Wilson arrived to the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage, and her father (or Deddy, as she calls him), walked her down the aisle.
“I have never seen Duck smile as big as he did then,” Wilson said.
At the end of what was described as a “perfect evening,” Wilson and her new husband left the reception through a sparkler send-off. They drove away in an old white Ford truck as their family and friends bid them farewell.
