Savannah Guthrie Returns To “Today” Show Studio 1 Month After Mom Nancy’s Kidnapping
Savannah Guthrie made her first appearance back on the Today show set as the search continues for her missing mother, Nancy.
On February 1, Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing. Authorities believe she was kidnapped from her home in Tucson, Arizona.
Since Nancy’s disappearance, the case has been extremely complicated and confusing. In the weeks that followed, multiple ransom notes were sent to media outlets, but none have been traced to a prime suspect.
A recent development in the investigation came when the FBI released photos and videos of a possible suspect outside Nancy’s home the night she vanished. The unsettling footage shows someone wearing a black ski mask, seemingly trying to get inside.
The person is seen grabbing plants from Nancy’s front yard and using them to block her security cameras.
Even with this significant development, police still have no lead on the kidnapper.
Family members close to Nancy have been cleared by officials as possible suspects, and they’re now offering a $1 million reward in hopes that someone will come forward with information to bring her home.
