CMA Celebrates The Holidays With Their Annual Christmas Special
CMA Country Christmas has returned for its fifteenth year! Beginning in 2010, the annual special ushers in the holiday season with festive performances and “can’t-miss musical moments.”
Filmed in Nashville, Tennessee, this year’s lineup included Lady A, Little Big Town, Megan Moroney, Parker McCollum, Riley Green, and more.
Jordan Davis and Lauren Daigle served as co-hosts for the evening. The special program aired on ABC on Tuesday, December 2nd, and is available for streaming on Hulu and Disney+ beginning December 3rd.
Riley Green Performs “Christmas To Me”
Country heartthrob Riley Green released his original song “Christmas To Me” one year ago. Filled with personal lyrics, the song describes the Alabama native’s own memories from celebrating Christmas as a child.
“And all them in-laws are showin’ up late / For a five-star meal on a paper plate / The sound of barefoot feet runnin’ through the house / The football game’s just about to start / About the time momma has a come-apart / ‘Cuz of sister’s new tattoo she just found out about / There’s a string of lights all tangled around the tree / That’s Christmas to me.”
