Riley Green Brings The House Down At Sand In My Boots
From May 16- 18, nearly 40,000 country music fans flocked to Gulf Shores, AL, for Sand In My Boots. The inaugural festival, created by CMA Entertainer of the Year Morgan Wallen, featured a variety of artists from different genres over three days. The event sold out at lightning speed when tickets went on sale in October last year.
The lineup featured country staples like Riley Green, Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Post Malone, and many more. Of course, host Morgan Wallen himself closed out the weekend with a headlining performance Sunday night.
The highly anticipated festival coincided with the release of his new 37-track album, I’m The Problem, which dropped on Friday, May 17.

Randy Houser Joins Riley Green For Surprise Duet
One of the most memorable moments from the night was when Riley Green surprised the Gulf Shores crowd by inviting fellow country singer Randy Houser to join him on stage. The two honored late icon Toby Keith with a killer duet of “Should’ve Been A Cowboy.”

“Should’ve Been A Cowboy” was a commercial success during Toby’s career. It reached number one on the Billboard country charts in 1993, a remarkable feat for an artist’s debut single. However, the song has only grown in popularity since the icon’s untimely death, and has now become an anthem of his memory.
Riley and Randy surely made Toby Keith proud with this performance, and the crowd sang along to every word.
