Reba McEntire And Rex Linn Are Planning Their Dream Wedding
Reba McEntire and Rex Linn are getting one step closer to making their dream wedding a reality.
In September 2025, the couple revealed their engagement while walking the red carpet at the Primetime Emmy Awards. However, even though it was the first time fans heard the news, the pair had actually been engaged for quite some time before making it public.
Rex had asked Reba to marry him on Christmas Eve in 2024.
And even though it’s been over a year now, Reba and Rex are still in no rush to walk down the aisle. They’ve made it clear that, for now, an actual wedding is not their main priority.
In a November interview with PEOPLE, the “Fancy” singer admitted that they would rather stay focused on their careers for now.
“We’re totally enjoying being engaged,” Reba told the outlet. “Work comes first, so we’ll see.”
That update came months ago, and so far, their schedules still haven’t really slowed down. Both Reba and Rex have stayed busy filming the NBC sitcom Happy’s Place, which has already been renewed for a third season.

Reba Shares More Details About What Her Upcoming Wedding Will Look Like
During a recent interview with ExtraTV, Reba once again addressed her and Rex’s wedding plans, or lack thereof. She confirmed that they still haven’t set a date.
“They’re kind of being pushed every time Rex gets a job because he always says work comes first,” she says. “Heck, we might be engaged 30 years before we get married, but we’re okay with that, too.”
But even though the big day is still far off, she already has a few ideas in mind for what she wants it to look like. Reba shared that she envisions a wedding filled with friends, family, and plenty of furry companions surrounding them.
“I have two granddogs, Watson and Belle, so they may be the ring bearers or something like that, but we have to have our animals there,” Reba said. “We’ve got longhorns and donkeys, horses and everything there at the place, cats, and we just, we have a lot of fun with them.”
Reba adds, “I am totally happy, I really am. Loving life, enjoy what I do.”
