It’s hard to imagine an artist having a better year than Morgan Wallen had in 2025. Riding the highs of his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, the Tennessee native broke all sorts of records. In addition to dethroning Garth Brooks and becoming the highest-selling country artist of all time (4th all-genre), Wallen also scored the most-listened-to album on Apple Music globally, the #1 most-listened-to album in the U.S. on Spotify and became the second male country artist in history to be named Billboard’s Top Artist of the Year.
2026 has been yet another huge year for the “Whiskey Glasses” singer as he’s currently on his massive Still The Problem Tour. Couple that with the debut of his very own radio station on SiriusXM and breaking the internet by teaming up with Ella Langley on “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” which is currently sitting at #7 on the Hot 100, there’s a lot to look forward to once again if you’re a fan of the “Whiskey Glasses” singer.
In particular, the Still The Problem Tour has been a massive success. Since kicking off back in April, Wallen has sold out massive stadiums across the country, such as the University of Alabama’s Saban Field, the Chicago Bears’ Soldier Field, the Minnesota Vikings’ US Bank Stadium, the Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium, Clemson Memorial Stadium and more.
This weekend, in particular, is looking to be a massive one for the Tennessee native. In addition to reading the release for his brand-new single, “Been By Now,” Wallen is playing back-to-back nights on Friday and Saturday at the University of Michigan’s Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, along with the likes of HARDY, Thomas Rhett, Hudson Westbrook and Blake Whiten.
With the big weekend quickly approaching, a new report from Hits Daily Double may signal an even bigger, record-breaking day for Wallen very soon. According to HDD, a back-of-the-envelope estimate indicates that the Still The Problem Tour could gross a staggering $500 million across its 23-show run.
If you think the $500 million gross would be historic, you’d be correct. If passed, Wallen’s tour would become the first in country music history to gross over half a billion dollars. In turn, it would also allow the “Don’t We” singer to claim the title as the owner of the highest-grossing country tour ever, passing Beyoncé’s record of $407.6 million with 2025’s Cowboy Carter Tour… well, if we’re actually gonna call that a country music tour…
Additionally, the $500 million mark would allow Wallen to enter the Top 20 highest-grossing tours of all time with Still The Problem, joining the likes of Taylor Swift, The Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Elton John, Ed Sheeran, Bruce Springsteen, Metallica and more.
Given that he only has four more shows on the tour, with it wrapping up on August 1st in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field, it appears that we’ll know if Wallen can stamp his name in the history books once again very soon.
