Lainey Wilson Teases New Song “Kinda Love It” Ahead of Friday Release
Lainey Wilson is getting ready to release new music, and the country star has given fans a first taste of what is coming next.
Wilson recently teased her upcoming song “Kinda Love It,” which is set to arrive on Friday, October 9. The preview has already created excitement among her fans.
Lainey Wilson Is Trying Something New
Wilson recently shared a video talking about her latest songwriting sessions.
The singer explained that she has been taking a different approach when entering the writing room. Instead of always having a clear plan for what she wants to create, she has been allowing the songs to develop naturally.
Wilson admitted that she usually likes knowing exactly how she wants a song to sound and how she wants the story to come together.
However, her recent writing sessions have been different.
She said there is something exciting about walking into a room without knowing where a song will go and simply allowing the creative process to take over.
That new approach appears to have led to “Kinda Love It.”

“Kinda Love It” Is Coming This Friday
Wilson gave fans a short preview of the new song after a fan asked when she would release new music.
The upcoming track appears to have an upbeat and playful feel. Wilson also connected the song to the familiar phrase “tiger by the tail.”
The expression describes being in a difficult situation that can be hard to control. It has also become well known in country music through Buck Owens’ classic 1965 song “I’ve Got A Tiger By The Tail.”
