Zachery Ty Bryan, best known for his longtime role in the 90s sitcom Home Improvement, has been arrested again.
Bryan was taken into custody on Saturday, November 29, in Eugene, Oregon, for allegedly violating the probation he received for a past domestic violence conviction, according to PEOPLE.
His fiancée, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, was also arrested and booked. She is facing five charges, including driving under the influence, three counts of reckless endangerment, and one count of attempted first-degree assault, according to jail records cited by the outlet.
Bryan is being held without bail and is said to be released on December 3.
Bryan’s Past Legal Troubles
Most people know Bryan from his almost ten-year run as Brad Taylor on Home Improvement. He portrayed the character from 1991 to 1999, starring alongside Tim Allen, Patricia Richardson, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, and Taran Noah Smith.

After the show ended, Bryan continued acting in several projects. He appeared in popular movies like First Kid and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. He retired from acting permanently in 2009.
It hasn’t been an easy road for Bryan since his days as a child actor, though. He has been arrested multiple times on various charges.
Before his current arrest, Bryan was taken into custody in January of this year on domestic violence charges in South Carolina. He was also charged on two separate occasions for DUI in 2024, once in February and again in October.
In 2023, Bryan pleaded guilty to fourth-degree felony assault for domestic violence after reaching a plea deal. He served 7 days in jail and received 36 months of probation.
