McEntire described Dolly as her “buddy” and thanked her for everything she gave to the world through her love and music.
She also reflected on Parton’s enormous heart and the memories she leaves behind.
“There will never ever be another you,” McEntire wrote, adding that fans will continue to cherish every memory and every song Dolly created. She ended her tribute with the words “I will always love you.”
Carly Pearce Says Dolly Was Everything Fans Hoped She Was
Carly Pearce also shared a deeply personal tribute.
Pearce recalled looking up to Dolly from the time she was a little girl. At just 15, her family moved so she could pursue her dreams and work in the country show at Dollywood.
Over the years, Pearce had the opportunity not only to work with Dolly, but also to know her personally.
