Criscilla Anderson, Ex-Wife Of Country Singer Coffey Anderson, Has Died
Criscilla Anderson has died after a valiant cancer battle at the age of 45.
Criscilla Crossland Anderson’s death was announced in a social media post that was penned by Criscilla prior to her death. The heartbreaking note read, “My sweet community, If you’re reading this, I’ve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus — peacefully and surrounded by love. Please don’t stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone… I’m Home.”
Criscilla was an accomplished dancer and choreographer who worked with Britney Spears, Snoop Dogg, Rihanna, and more. She also worked with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, appearing on Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team on CMT in 2022.
The post continued with a message to her family and friends, as well as a note to her children. “My babies… I am watching over you. When a moment feels warm, familiar, or too beautiful to be a coincidence — that’s me. I’m still mothering you. I’m still yours.”

About Criscilla Anderson
She married country singer Coffey Anderson (“Mr. Red White & Blue”) in 2009. The couple shared four children and starred in the 2020 Netflix reality show, Country Ever After. The two divorced in 2023.
She was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2018. She went into remission briefly, but was diagnosed with advanced Stage 4.
Criscilla documented much of her cancer journey and her return to dancing on social media. Her faith and love for her family were at the forefront of everything she did. She often shared photos of her children with her online community as well as messages of hope.
Two weeks before her death, her team shared that she had been admitted to the hospital “for cancerous fluid around her heart and a stroke. The night before, her legs went numb. Earlier this week she underwent surgery to drain that fluid — relief that also revealed how much her body has been carrying in silence. This weekend she finally gets to go home. Today an MRI of the brain was done to see if her symptoms were from a stroke or if the cancer had spread… and with heavy hearts, we learned it is in fact cancer.”
Criscilla Anderson will be remembered for her incredible talent and intense love for her children and her community.
Coffey Anderson issued an emotional statement about Criscilla’s passing.
Shortly after news of Criscilla’s death was made public, her ex-husband shared a heartfelt message. In a statement posted to social media, Coffey remembered Criscilla as a woman who “defined strength” and was a “fighter like no other person on the planet.”
