TPUSA To Host Alternative Super Bowl Halftime Show
Turning Point USA announced on Thursday, October 9, 2025 that it would be hosting an alternative Super Bowl halftime performance, called the “All-American Halftime Show.” The show has promoted it as being an event for “celebrating faith, family, and freedom.”
The news came just after the NFL announced that Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny will be the Super Bowl halftime show performer.
Super Bowl LX will be held on February 8, 2026. The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will face off against each other at Levi’s Stadium.
The Anticipated Lineup Finally Announced
On February 2, the organization revealed the show’s star-studded lineup, and it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable night. Country fans especially will have plenty to celebrate.
Turning Point announced that a number of celebrities will be performing at the highly anticipated show, including country music star Brantley Gilbert.
The event, airing on Super Bowl Sunday (February 8), can be viewed on Turning Point’s social media channel and YouTube page. It will also air on Real America’s Vote, TBN, National News Desk, Charge!, and DW+.

Brantley Gilbert Explains His Decision To Perform During TPUSA’s Halftime Show
On Friday (February 6), Gilbert took to social media to explain his decision behind performing at TPUSA’s alternative halftime show.
He said that, above all, he is a Christian and hopes to use his performance to share his personal testimony through music.
“I’m a recovering addict with the history of all the bad choices that come with it,” Gilbert shared. “I’m not proud of those choices, but I am proud of the choice I’ve made to live in another direction.”
The singer said that he was not playing this show to be “divisive,” but rather as a proud husband and father, wanted to make his family proud as they watched him on the stage.
Gilbert emphasized the historic rarity of country music on the NFL’s halftime stage, noting that it has been more than two decades since a country artist was featured in the Super Bowl halftime show.
“The way I treat people isn’t conditional based on what our differences may be. I believe “united we stand, divided we fall,” and my prayer for our country is that we stand united,” Gilbert shared.
The “Bottoms Up” singer thanked fans and his road crew for their support, saying he feels ready and excited to take the stage on Sunday.
