Yellowstone‘s Sequel Show Marshals Is On A Roll
After the hit show Yellowstone ended, we never knew if we’d ever get more of sole remaining Dutton brother, Kayce’s story. But thankfully, not long after the series ended, it was announced that Kayce would get his own show on CBS titled Marshals.

The show follows Kayce and his son Tate navigating the loss of his wife, Monica, and forging a new path for them both. After reconnecting with an old Navy SEAL buddy, Pete “Cal” Calvin, played by Logan Marshall-Green, Kayce joins his team of US Marshals.
Familiar characters like Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) and Mo (Mo Brings Plenty) return in this new show as confidants to Kayce, especially now that Monica is gone.
Despite the pushback of Kayce’s hiring by Chief U.S. Marshal Harry Gifford (Brett Cullen), Kayce uses his knowledge of the area and his gut instincts to prove that he is a vital member of the team, which consists of Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos), Belle Skinner (Arielle Kebbel), and Tatanka Means (Miles Kittle).

Episode 7: “Family Business”
Episode 7 aired on CBS on Sunday, April 12 at 8 PM ET, and will be available for streaming the next day. Titled “Family Business,” the episode begins with a federal judge, her husband, and children, are nearly killed with a car bomb.
The Marshals team is tasked with protecting them, and also figure out the people behind it.
Cal, Belle, and Miles stay with the family with Andrea and Kayce hunt down the suspect, who the judge sent to prison many years ago and is seeking revenge.
While spending time protecting them, the team figures out that Judge Ayers’ “family business” isn’t as squeaky clean as one might think. They all has unresolved resentment towards each other, beginning with Blake, who resents his wife for always putting work first. Fallon, their daughter, resents her mom because she is not allowed to attend a music festival.
Suddenly, shots ring out and since they are clearly not safe in their home anymore, they must move locations. The team decides to take Judge Ayers back to Marshals HQ and to take Blake and Fallon off the grid to Kayce’s house.

Kayce and Andrea had the suspect in custody when the judge and her family were shot at, so clearly they had the wrong guy. The duo then get saddled with watching Blake and Fallon while the rest keep digging.
The team goes back to the judges’ house to look for more clues and discover fake passports hidden in the walls. They look into Blake, who said he ran a charity which supplies medical supplies overseas. Turns out, he actually helps smuggle guns to revolutionaries in Equatorial Guinea. So now we know that he is the target and not his wife.
As the Marshals put the pieces together, we see Blake escape from Kayce’s home to meet up with the people who tried to kill him and his family. Instead of a civil meeting, they of course kidnapped him. Thanks to his wife being a judge, she signed off on warrants to track them down. Turns out, they are Delta Force operatives that conveniently live near Kayce.
Kayce and Andrea approach the men and Blake and despite Andrea reminding Kayce that the higher ups will want the suspects alive to interrogate them. In true Kayce fashion, he goes in alone, without backup, and kills everyone to save Blake.
Although their family is safe, Fallon asks Andrea and Kayce if her dad is a monster. She asked the right people because Andrea’s dad, who was a police officer, and Kayce’s dad were both murdered because of their jobs.
“No father is perfect,” Kayce tells her.
The Action-Packed Episode Turns Romantic
The episode title “Family Business” also comes into play throughout the episode as we delve into the romantic lives of each team member.
