Golf legend Tiger Woods was injured in a car crash in Jupiter Island, Florida on Friday afternoon. The golfer just made his return to competition at TGL on Tuesday after undergoing back surgery in October.
Tiger Woods was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, property damage, and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
Woods is currently at the Martin County Jail, and will remain there for 8 hours by Florida law.
The golfer blew a zero on the breathalyzer test, and refused urinalysis.
Police said Woods appeared to be under the influence of “some type of medication or drug,” Authorities found no drugs or medications in the car.

Tiger Woods Involved In Serious Car Crash
Golf legend Tiger Woods was reportedly involved in a rollover crash Friday (March 27), in Jupiter Island, Florida.
According to TMZ, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office has not released details on the cause of the crash or Woods’ condition. Police are investigating, and a sheriff is scheduled to address the media at 5 p.m. ET.
The crash happened shortly after 2 p.m. in the same town he resides.

In February 2021, the professional golfer was seriously injured in a single-car crash in Southern California, when his vehicle rolled multiple times and left him trapped inside.
Woods underwent emergency surgery to repair “open fractures” in his lower right leg, including the insertion of a rod in his tibia and screws and pins in his foot and ankle. He later had at least one additional surgery in April 2023 related to injuries sustained in that crash.
