In addition to O-Donnell, the all-star cast includes:

  • Jessica Capshaw as Blythe Hart, Captain Hart’s wife
  • Michael Provost as Ryan Hart, Blythe and Captain Hart’s son
  • LeAnn Rimes as Dixie Bennings, Captain Hart’s ex

  • Kimberly Williams-Paisley as Cammie Raleigh, Blythe’s sister-in-law
  • Juani Feliz as firefighter Roxie Alba
  • Hailey Kilgore as firefighter Taylor Thompson

Captain Hart’s entire life changes when Blue comes into the picture. Blue shakes things up further by joining the firehouse and working alongside his father.

Has 9-1-1: Nashville Been Renewed For A Second Season?

9-1-1: Nashville was a big hit with viewers when it premiered. However, as Deadline details, the ratings began to decline and hit an all-time low when its fall finale aired on November 13, 2025.

Ratings remained on the lower end when the series returned on January 8, 2026. But then, the numbers started to climb. The show’s January 29 episode had more viewers than any other up to that point. Its popularity held strong throughout February and into March.

Deadline reports that 9-1-1: Nashville is now the top new TV drama among adults ages 18-49.

Naturally, fans started wondering if the show would be renewed for a second season. We finally got our answer on Thursday (March 5), when ABC confirmed the series’ fate.
