Lionel Richie Reportedly Hospitalized After Saturday Night Performance
Legendary singer Lionel Richie has reportedly been hospitalized shortly after performing a concert in Missouri on Saturday night.
According to reports cited by Country Rebel, Richie was taken to the hospital after his August 29 performance at The Muny in Forest Park, Missouri, where he was performing as part of his Sing a Song All Night Long Tour with Earth, Wind & Fire.

According to TMZ, sources with direct knowledge said Richie was being treated in the intensive care unit.
The report states that the singer was taken to the hospital as a precaution and that doctors were looking into dehydration.
Richie reportedly asked his team to bring him a chair toward the end of Saturday night’s concert while performing his hit “All Night Long.”
Previous Health Scare
This is not the first health-related incident Richie has experienced during his current tour.
On June 24, during the opening night of his tour in St. Paul, Minnesota, Richie told the audience that he was feeling dizzy.
He eventually sat down while performing “Dancing on the Ceiling”, telling the crowd that it was the first time in his career he had needed to do so.
The remainder of that show was later canceled, and two additional performances were postponed on doctors’ advice.
Richie later said on July 4 that he was “doing well” and ready to return to the stage.

The latest hospitalization comes as Richie continues his major tour with Earth, Wind & Fire.
His next scheduled concert is currently set for September 26 in San Francisco.
