Bunnie Xo hasn’t directly addressed her split from Jelly Roll, yet, but she isn’t staying completely silent, either.
To catch you up to speed, news broke on June 15th that singer-songwriter Jelly Roll and his wife, Dumb Blonde podcast host Bunnie Xo, were divorcing after nearly 10 years of marriage.
Jelly (real name Jason DeFord) filed the paperwork in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18th. Their date of separation was listed as May 9th, and the reason for their split was “irreconcilable differences.”
Looking back, fans think Bunnie may have been hinting at heartbreak before the divorce news was made public. She’s continued posting on social media since then, with one of her most recent videos sparking its fair share of confusion.
On June 17th, Bunnie shared a video of herself enjoying dinner with friends. But the unusual part that had fans raising their eyebrows was the fact that she set the video to one of Jelly’s songs.
The short clip shows Bunnie lip-syncing to Jelly’s 2018 rap song, “No Limit (Freestyle).” The part that Bunnie played includes the lyric, “My girl super bad she look like a human Barbie,” which, since Jelly and Bunnie were married by then, we can assume was about her.
Bunnie included a cryptic caption next to the clip, teasing, “Podcast coming.”
Needless to say, her followers had lots of questions. Some of the comments on the video included:
“Hold tf up isn’t this a jelly song? I feel like they are playin all of us.”
“She’s using jelly’s song! I’m sooooo confused lol.”
“Is this not jelly rapping?!? Just want this to be a bad dream.”
“Hurry please we have questions.”

Jelly Roll Also Shared A Video After News Dropped About His Divorce From Bunnie Xo
Like Bunnie Xo, Jelly Roll has continued posting on social media since news of their divorce went public. Also like her, Jelly hasn’t addressed their split directly.
After the divorce news broke on June 15th, Jelly only waited one day before sharing a new post on social media. He uploaded a video of himself talking to a fan in the crowd at one of his recent concerts.
The fan had been serving in a juvenile detention center that Jelly visited in 2023. Now, three years later, he’s out of the center, and wanted to see Jelly in concert.
Jelly, who has served time behind bars, told the young man it was “beautiful” to see him there at his show. He invited him up onstage and gave him a hug.
