What To Know About New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2026
The lineup for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026 has been revealed.
And there’s good news for country fans: the long list of performers also includes several country music stars.

This New Year’s Rockin’ Eve is set to be unlike anything in its 54-year run. For the first time, the show will air for a full eight hours.
It will start on Wednesday, December 31, at 8 p.m. and run until 4 a.m. ET the next morning, which is an hour and a half longer than last year’s program. Additionally, more than 85 songs will be performed during the telecast, according to Billboard.
Ryan Seacrest will host the event once again, joined by returning co-host Rita Ora in New York City’s Times Square.
Another new addition this year is that NYRE will feature its first Central Time Zone countdown from Chicago, with Chance the Rapper taking charge. Dancing With The Stars’ Julianne Hough and former NFL player Rob Gronkowski will also return to lead the broadcast live from Las Vegas.
As of now, details for the Puerto Rico celebration haven’t been shared, but they are expected to be announced soon.
Who Will Be Performing?
During NYRE, 38 performers will take the stage. The lineup includes a mix of genres, with both new and upcoming artists as well as classic stars everyone knows and loves.
Country music fans can look forward to performances by Jordan Davis, Little Big Town, Russell Dickerson, Post Malone, and Tucker Wetmore, along with appearances from country-pop artists Jessie Murph and Maren Morris.
The headlining performance that will take place right before the clock strikes midnight has not been announced yet.
Last year, Carrie Underwood closed the show and welcomed the new year, so it’s possible another country superstar could take the spot this time, too.
