Carrie Underwood made a surprise appearance during Guns N’ Roses’ concert at Truist Park in Atlanta on September 19.
The country superstar stepped onto the massive stage alongside Axl Rose and the legendary rock band. Together, they performed “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City” in front of a packed crowd.
Underwood appeared completely comfortable in the rock setting. Her powerful vocals added a country edge to the classic Guns N’ Roses songs, creating another memorable crossover moment between country and rock music

Carrie Underwood and Axl Rose Have a History
This was not the first time Underwood and Axl Rose have shared a stage.
Their musical connection goes back to 2022, when Rose surprised fans by joining Underwood during her Stagecoach Festival performance. The two performed “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City” together at the festival.
The collaboration continued in 2023 when Rose joined Underwood during a Los Angeles concert. Underwood later became an opening act for Guns N’ Roses during several dates of the band’s tour.
Carrie Has Always Had a Rock Side
Although Underwood is one of country music’s biggest stars, she has never hidden her love for rock music.
During her 2023 appearances with Guns N’ Roses, her set included rock classics from artists such as Joan Jett, Motörhead and Led Zeppelin.
That made her latest appearance in Atlanta feel like a natural continuation of her long-running connection with the genre.
