A Huge Year for Ella Langley
The nominations come after an extraordinary year for Langley.
“Choosin’ Texas” has become one of the biggest country crossover hits of 2026. According to Country Rebel, the song has spent 21 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Her nine CMA nominations put her just one nomination away from the single-year record of 10, set by Alan Jackson in 2002.
Langley also enters the Entertainer of the Year race alongside Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and reigning winner Lainey Wilson.
The 60th CMA Awards will take place on November 18, 2026, at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Lainey Wilson will return as host, with the ceremony airing live on ABC and Disney+.
For now, Langley’s unforgettable reaction has given fans another reason to celebrate what has already been a remarkable year for the rising country superstar.
