Jelly Roll created one of the most heartwarming moments of the night after noticing a sign from an 80-year-old fan who was attending her very first concert ever.
During the show, Jelly Roll spotted Miss Marley’s sign and paused his performance to invite her to come closer to the front barricade so he could personally greet her from the stage. The singer took a moment to thank her for choosing him as the first artist she had ever seen live.
“I’m gonna be honest, I think you’re lying. I don’t think you’re 80. You look 60,” Jelly Roll joked as he spoke to her. “You’re 80 years old and this is your first concert?”
The country star then shared his appreciation for the special moment and told Miss Marley how much it meant to him.
“Well, thank you for picking me, Miss Marley. I hope you have the night of your life, and I hope this starts your spree of you going to 50 more concerts for the next 20 years,” he said.
Jelly Roll also praised her energy and encouraged her to keep enjoying live music for years to come.
“The way you’re moving, I got a feeling you’re going to be 100 years old still coming to Jelly Roll shows. Thank you for making me your first one,” he added.
The touching interaction quickly became one of the most memorable moments of the night, with fans praising Jelly Roll for taking the time to celebrate a longtime music lover’s first concert experience.
The moment once again showed the strong connection Jelly Roll has built with his fans, proving that music has no age limit.
