Jelly Roll’s daughter, Bailee Ann, is asking for privacy for her and her family right now.
The 18-year-old shared a post on her TikTok Story on Tuesday night, June 16, calling out people she feels have gone too far trying to figure out why her father and stepmom, Bunnie Xo, are going their separate ways.
News of their separation became public on June 15 when TMZ first reported that Jelly Roll had filed for divorce.
Public records show that the paperwork was filed in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18. The reason for their divorce was listed as “irreconcilable differences.”
Jelly Roll and Bunnie had been married for nearly a decade, so news of their split came as a huge surprise to many fans. It’s a breakup that not many people saw coming, which has naturally led to a lot of questions about what happened.
However, Bailee is reminding people that no matter how curious they may be about the situation, her family is still living through it and deserves their privacy.
In the post, Bailee shared a selfie with her statement written across the photo. The message read:
“Oh & one more thing I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter. It’s fkn crazy.”
She continued, “Go on somehwere yall. Worry bout your house- not mine. I’m not speaking on it – yet.”

Hours later, Bailee shared a longer message. This time, she thanked the people who had reached out with support and kindness instead of adding to the negativity.
“I can say on a more positive note – thank you to everyone who is showing me so much love and kindness through everything,” she began. “At the end of the day, no matter what, we are all humans with feelings and that is worthy of compassion.”
Bailee went on to say, “Thank you for the kind messages, the words of support, and those of you who go out of your way to make me feel protected & seen. I love yall. I will never forget those of you that have shown me empathy when I’m seeing a lot of hate. Thank you. So much. And to everyone else, I hope humanity can evolve to a place where kindness comes first, I understand & respect opinions and that a public profile is a public profile, but that doesn’t have to mean we throw away our human decency. I love ALL of you.”

This is the first time someone close to Jelly Roll and Bunnie has publicly spoken about their divorce since the news broke. So far, neither the country star nor the podcast host has made a statement about their split.
Amid all the drama, Bailee is making sure to stay close with her family and appreciate the special moments that come along.
Recently, she and her dad shared a sweet father-daughter moment on stage when she surprised him during his concert at the Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on June 13.
Jelly Roll had no idea Bailee was going to be there. He thought she was still in Europe for her senior trip.
“That’s so cool y’all. I had no idea,” Jelly Roll told the crowd. “Speaking of breaking generational curses, she was the first kid on our side of the family to graduate high school. She’s going to be the first kid on my particular side of the family that’s going to be a college student. Her and her girlfriend just finished a 20 day trip in Europe for their senior trip. She just flew in. Life’s not about what you do… it’s about who you do it with.”
He and Bailee then sang an impromptu duet, performing Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” for the packed arena.
