Bunnie Xo may have been hinting at a major life change before news broke that Jelly Roll had reportedly filed for divorce.
Just hours before reports surfaced that Jelly Roll filed for divorce in Tennessee in May, Bunnie Xo shared a series of social media posts that now seem especially noteworthy in light of the news.
Bunnie Xo’s Cryptic Posts
On Monday (June 15), Bunnie Xo posted a lingerie photo to her Instagram Story along with a message that read, “She’s getting her sparkle back.”
In another Story, she shared a quote that said, “Come here, let me show you what love feels like.”
She specifically sang the lyrics: “It’s not like you didn’t know that / I said, ‘I love you,’ and I swear I still do / And it must have been so bad / ‘Cause livin’ with me must have damn near killed you.”

Speaking with Extra, she explained that honesty was always a cornerstone of their relationship, even during periods when they did not view their marriage through traditional expectations.
She also credited Jelly Roll with helping her grow by accepting her exactly as she was.
He never tried to save me. He never tried to come in and be like, ‘You can’t do this. You need to change who you are.’ He always just loved me where I was at, and the way that he loved me made me want to change for him.
The couple renewed their vows in 2023 and have frequently spoken publicly about the challenges they overcame together.
Jelly Roll Files For Divorce From Bunnie Xo, Reports
Jelly Roll has filed to end his marriage to Bunnie Xo, according to a new report.
TMZ was the first to report the news, saying that Jelly Roll (Jason DeFord) filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo (Alisa DeFord) in May, nearly 10 years after the couple said, “I do.”
PEOPLE confirmed the filing, and added that Jelly Roll filed the paperwork in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18.
The news comes as a surprise to fans, given the couple’s outspoken love for each other and their public displays of affection. As recently as February, Jelly Roll thanked his wife while accepting the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Country Album.
He told the crowd, “I want to thank my beautiful wife. I would have never changed my life without you. I would have ended up dead or in jail. I would have killed myself if it wasn’t for you and Jesus. I thank you for that.”
On May 3, the pair shared a video clip of them with Jelly’s daughter, Bailee Ann, ahead of her prom. That would be the last post either of them made together.
