What Is Freedom 250: The Great American State Fair?
Freedom 250: The Great American State Fair is a 16-day festival held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., from June 25 through July 10.
The event is being put on to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s independence with performances, events, and different themes for each day.
See all the themes below.
The Great American State Fair announced the concert lineup last month, but just a couple days later, acts including Martina McBride, began dropping out claiming they were misled by the organizers as to the event being non-partisan.
The main kickoff to the Freedom 250 celebrations took place over the weekend with the UFC Freedom 250 match that took place at the White House.
Countless fans tuned in to watch Zac Brown Band deliver a chilling rendition of the National Anthem before the fights, who said they were blown away by the performance.
