What can’t Peyton Manning do?
The former NFL football player, who won the Super Bowl with the Indianapolis Colts in 2007, has proven himself to be a man of many talents.
He and his brother, Eli Manning, have hosted a game show, College Bowl, and they also host the Manningcast together; and Peyton even teaches a class at his alma mater, University of Tennessee.
Of course, Peyton remains a favorite host of Saturday Night Live, where he revealed his gift for comedic timing, and even some dance moves.
Now, we can add country singer to the list… well, kind of.
As country artist Jordan Davis performed “Wagon Wheel” at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, Peyton was brought on stage to the delight of the crowd.

“I know I’ve said this in the past, but some shows are a little more special than others,” said Jordan Davis to the crowd at Red Rocks on September 24. “Since I moved to Nashville in 2012 and started touring in 2014, there has been one place that I’ve always wanted to play.”
Hearing this, the crowd went wild.
Jordan went on to raise a shot glass toward the crowd, saying, “This is a ‘cheers’ to every person here tonight!”
During the show, the “What My World Spins Around” singer had a special guest join him on stage… certainly an unexpected one.
“Should I bring Peyton Manning out here to sing this second verse?” asked Jordan.
Who was going to say ‘no’ to that?
Donning a cowboy hat and holding a red Solo cup, Peyton Manning joined Jordan Davis on stage as he covered Bob Dylan’s “Wagon Wheel,” which was popularized by Old Crow Medicine Show.
Peyton, who sang with twang and a confidence, held his own, nodding along knowingly with the lyrics. The smile that grew across his face was infectious, and the audience seemed pleasantly surprised.
As they finished the song, Jordan and Peyton hugged, and Jordan declared, “That’s the G.O.A.T. right there, folks.”

This is not the first time the NFL star has sung a country tune, as he was filmed singing David Allan Coe’s “You Never Even Call Me By Me Name” at a karaoke bar in 2024.

Peyton also had a moment singing in a studio with Kenny Chesney — who sang at Peyton’s wedding in 2001 — that he was surprised to find there was a video of as he was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last year.
