Tesla Windshield Shattered by Random Fish That Fell From the Sky

It sounds like a scene out of a movie, but we promise this is the real deal. A couple in New Jersey says that the windshield of their Tesla was shattered by a random fish falling from the sky.

Okay, so you’re minding your own business on a random Sunday. Everything is going great for you, until it all of a sudden isn’t.

Cynthia and Jeff Levine say they were at home on Sunday when they heard a crash, followed by a car alarm. Worried about their Tesla in the driveway, they investigated and saw the windshield of their Tesla was smashed.

After a closer look, they saw that there was blood and fish scales on the glass of their EV.

They confirmed that a fish had fallen from the sky and hit the car. Now, Jeff initially thought someone threw the fish at the car.

Then the couple thought of something else. The Levines live about a mile away from Raritan Bay, N.J., where that fish could’ve come from, and some locals say it’s pretty common to see birds flying around with fish in their mouths.

Cynthia says that there’s an eagle’s nest in the back of their property, so her theory is that an eagle accidentally dropped it, and it happened to fall right on their Tesla’s windshield.

The car got repaired, and Jeff had to make quite the awkward call to their insurance company. After it was all said and done, Jeff joked, “I lowered my deductibles, so if any birds are listening, please don’t drop it here because I’m covered now.”

Not that smart to tease the fish like this, as they might tell their whole school the deal, and come back with a vengeance.
