Ronnie Dunn Needed Some Help With Lyrics To Morgan Wallen’s “Whiskey Glasses”

Ronnie Dunn of legendary country group Brooks & Dunn is laughing off needing a cheat sheet to perform with Morgan Wallen.

The pair joined Wallen on his I’m The Problem stadium tour to Miami last weekend for two sold-out nights.

While singing Wallen’s hit “Whiskey Glasses,” Dunn made the internet go wild when he could be seen pulling a piece of paper from his pocket, presumably a cheat sheet to make sure he didn’t miss a word.

Based on the clips, neither Ronnie nor Kix Brooks seemed to sing much, but they added their own flair and had fun with the moment.

Ronnie Is Now Poking Fun At The Ordeal

After the video of the “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” singer went viral, he took to his social media to poke fun at himself.

Dunn joked that he’s “still learning ‘Neon Moon,’” and asked fans to cut him some slack when it comes to singing someone else’s song.

“Hell, I’m still learnin’ NEON MOON Love ‘WHISKEY GLASSES’… be patient… RD,” he joked.

Dunn walked towards the camera in the video, explaining the backstory behind the cheat sheet.

The video shows the entirety of the night, and at the end the words “Where’s The Paper” come on screen, making light of the fact that he had lyrics with him.

“I’m going to sing a Morgan Wallen song that I don’t know. But, look at this. If I can read it, we’ll be okay.”

Iconic Reboot Of “Neon Moon”

Brooks & Dunn, together with Wallen, also released a reboot version of their iconic hit “Neon Moon” in November 2024.

Wallen handles the first verse and chorus, bringing his signature raspy vocals to the track, both honoring the original and adding new elements to the song.

Brooks shared that Wallen wanted to keep the hit as original as possible.

“He said he didn’t want mess with it,” Brooks shared. “I guess in his opinion, it was already done.”
