“Reba’s Family Targeted? Shocking Response to Viral Fake News!”

Meet Reba McEntire’s Daughter-In-Law, Marissa Blackstock

Despite what you may have seen in some (false) social media posts, Reba McEntire has a great relationship with her daughter-in-law, Marissa.

In addition to being a country music superstar and actress, Reba is a proud mama to her son, Shelby. Reba shares Shelby with her now ex-husband, Narvel Blackstock, and he was born on February 23, 1990.

Shelby married his longtime love, Marissa, in 2022. They said “I do” during a stunning ceremony in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, saying their vows in front of Cinderella Castle.

Reba attended the ceremony with her boyfriend, Rex Linn. Later in the evening, she and Shelby shared their mother-son dance to Reba’s own song, “You’re Gonna Be (Always Loved By Me).”

As you can see in the photos and videos, Shelby and Marissa’s wedding day was a happy occasion for all in attendance. The couple remains close with Reba and her boyfriend Rex, and they’ve even gone on vacations together!

However, one Facebook page has started spreading false rumors about Reba’s relationship with her daughter-in-law. The problem became so severe that Marissa felt the need to call them out publicly and warn Reba’s fans about the deceptive posts.

Marissa Blackstock Shames Facebook Page For Spreading “Fake News” About Her Family

In a recent post on her Instagram Story, Marissa called out a Facebook page that’s been spreading rumors about her family and her relationship with Reba.

Marissa shared a screenshot of a post from the page, which falsely asserted she “regrets her wedding day…and the main reason is because of Reba.”

Calling the post “fake news,” Marissa asked her followers to report the page and any others that spread false rumors about her, Reba, and their family.

If y’all have a sec, report this page on Facebook. They post fake news and apparently got tired of me trolling them and blocked me,” she said.

Why do some Facebook pages spread fake news like this?  They do so in the hopes of going viral and earning a large number of likes, comments, and shares.

Unfortunately, this tactic sometimes works too well, and unsuspecting social media users often accept the rumors as truth. This forces celebrities (or their family members) to address the false reports and set the record straight.

After seeing fake posts pop up about herself, Marissa felt it was time to draw attention to the issue. While her post has since disappeared from her Instagram Story, you now know to be on the lookout for any pages that spread false reports about her relationship with Reba. Clearly, they adore each other!
