Miranda Lambert’s Foundation Donates Over $300K For Flood Relief Funds
Country superstar Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation, in partnership with Tractor Supply, has stepped up in a big way to support animal shelters hit hard by recent flooding.
Through its Relief for Rescues Fund, the foundation has donated over $300,000 to more than 20 shelters and rescue organizations in Texas, New Mexico, and New Jersey. These funds are helping provide critical resources for displaced animals, repairs to damaged facilities, and support for shelter staff working around the clock in the aftermath of the devastating floods earlier this month.
“Texas is my home state and the tragedy that took so many lives – and forever changed so many others – left me without words to express my heartbreak. All I knew was that I wanted to help,” Lambert said. “I’m grateful that our MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief For Rescues Fund could quickly jump into action. We started the Fund so we could immediately respond to the needs of animal shelters and rescues after a natural disaster, and it’s always incredible to see it in action during times like this. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to make that possible.”
Tractor Supply, home to MuttNation’s merchandise, also donated to animals displaced by the devastating floods, saying they were committed to help during this difficult time.
“At Tractor Supply, we were heartbroken by the recent floods and the devastating aftermath for these communities,” Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer Kimberley Gardiner at Tractor Supply Company said. “These funds are more than financial support – they’re a lifeline to animals and the people working tirelessly to care for them. We’re committed to helping these organizations continue their mission of care, rescue, and compassion when it’s needed most.”

Country Artists Help With Texas Relief Efforts
Country artists have led the charge in helping Texas recover from the flood. Texas natives Robert Earl Keen and George Strait both announced future benefit concerts to help their home state.
Country artist Josh Weathers hosted a virtual benefit concert just days after the flood that helped raise over $430K for relief efforts.
Chris and Morgane Stapleton donated $1 million toward flood relief efforts through their charitable fund, Outlaw State of Kind. They donated to various local and national organizations, including Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation.
Lambert co-founded her MuttNation Foundation with her mom, Bev, in 2009. The organization helps animals in need, especially after natural disasters.
On July 5, Lambert said that MuttNation was working with Kerrville Pets Alive to learn more about their needs and help animals affected by the floods.
Then, on Monday (July 14), Lambert called in to speak to Cody Alan, the host of the Highway Mornings show on SiriusXM. During their conversation, Lambert announced her plans to host a benefit concert for Texas.
“I feel like I’m on the verge of tears constantly,” Lambert told Alan. “I feel…helpless like everybody else.”
She added, “But I know more than anything that Texans help Texans. I’m working on more things to come, hopefully next week [I’ll] announce some things I’m trying to do to help.”
