Luke Bryan’s Son Is A High School Quarterback

Country superstar Luke Bryan’s son, Bo, is a quarterback on the football team at Battle Ground Academy.

Battle Ground Academy is a private, independent, co‑educational, college-preparatory day school serving pre‑K through 12th grade and located in Franklin, Tennessee.

Thomas “Bo” Boyer Bryan is 17-years-old and the oldest of Bryan’s two sons with his wife, Caroline.

In a video posted to Instagram by The Tennessean Sports, Bo could be seen throwing a pass during practice.

“Son of country star Luke Bryan throws a good ball,” the outlet wrote. “Safe to say BGA is in good shape with him and senior Kaedyn Marable.”

Luke’s Sweet Family

Luke and Caroline also share a 14-year-old son, Tatum “Tate” Christopher Bryan, and after the deaths of his sister Kelly in 2007 and her husband Ben Lee Cheshire in 2014, the couple stepped up to become full-time guardians to their nieces Jordan and Kris and nephew Tilden.

In 2021, Luke shared that he was in the “golden” years of parenting with his boys.

“As they grow older, it’s easier to let them tag along,” Luke said at the time. “They become little men and they become functional little microcosms of me. Their personalities are really different … They become your buddies. I mean, they’re still your kids, you still have to do the discipline and you still have to teach them the right and wrongs of life, but they really morph into your buddies.”

Luke also has mentioned that his sons were “different” than he was at their age.

“They come home and sit down, they do their homework and I’m like, ‘I didn’t do that when I was a kid.’ They’re just well-rounded kids,” the singer explained. “Learning farm life and how to live on a farm and do outdoor things, but they’ve also come with me and been on set of American Idoland to these big cities and watched me do Dodgers Stadium and [have seen] the whole world and have a nice perception of it.”

Luke Returns To The Stage After Time Off

Luke has had to cancel several shows in recent weeks after dealing with illness and vocal issues.

He officially returned to the stage on Thursday, July 10, with a show in Toronto as part of his Country Song Came On Tour.

But a couple of days before the concert, he shared a video message with fans, thanking them for their support while he took time to recover. He also gave a shout-out to Eric Church for performing in his place when he wasn’t able to.

“What’s up y’all… Hope everybody had a great 4th and I wanted to thank everybody for all the well wishes for the last few shows that I had to postpone and obviously cancel,” he said. “I want to thank my buddy Eric Church for stepping in and helping out with me.”
