Bunnie Recently Gave An Update On Her Journey To Having A Baby
Bunnie XO, the wife of Jelly Roll, is opening up about her journey to becoming a mother.
Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO married in 2016 and have custody of Jelly Roll’s teenage daughter, Bailee. He also has an eight-year-old son named Noah from his previous marriage. However, the couple does not have children together yet.
Bunnie has been very open about wanting her own kids. In an episode of her podcast Dumb Blonde last year, she revealed that she and the “Save Me” singer had started the process with a surrogate mother.
“I feel like I’ve accomplished so much in my life. And the only thing that’s left is to raise a baby and garden.”
She shared that they decided to use a surrogate because, after the progress she had made with her mental health, she didn’t want to disrupt it by going through the hormonal changes that come with pregnancy.
“I am not mentally well enough to let my hormones get out of whack… I have gotten to a place where I’m even-keeled. My anxiety is finally good. I don’t have depression — of course I have down days and stuff like that, but nothing like what I went through in 2019,” she said.
The 44-year-old also opened up about having gone through miscarriages in the past, which also influenced their decision to pursue the surrogacy route.
“I would have trouble carrying a baby. I have lost many babies, you know. One, we don’t have the time to go through that. Two, my schedule does not allow for me to … have another miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.”
Bunnie XO Reveals She Is Currently Undergoing IVF Treatments
In a TikTok video posted a few days ago, Bunnie shared an update with fans about her and Jelly Roll having a baby. While she previously said she didn’t plan to carry a child herself, she revealed that she is now undergoing IVF treatments.
“I’m literally going through IVF treatments right now,” Bunnie said in the video. “The hormones, the shots, all that.”
Bunnie says that she is “going through all of the emotions. The roller coaster, the worry.”
Although going through IVF is no easy process, Bunnie said she wants to do this “just so that I could have a little piece of me, just a little piece wrapped in skin to add to the other two beautiful children we have together.”
