Bailey Zimmerman Shared Jesus Christ During A Concert
Country singer Bailey Zimmerman stopped a concert to share his testimony of what God has done in his own life over the past few years.
“No matter where you’re at in life, God loves you where you’re at,” Zimmerman shared with the crowd. “It took a long time for me to understand that, and believe that.”
The rising country star shared a brief story of his personal life, saying he gave God the glory to where he stands today.
“I give all the glory to God, I take none of it personally,” Zimmerman said.
He explained how before 2019, he had never written songs or performed, but he prayed that God would show him his purpose on this earth.
“There was this Bible verse that kept sticking out every time I would pray. ‘Anything is possible for him who believes,’” he continued.
Bailey Zimmerman Often References His Love For Jesus
Earlier this summer, while headlining at Country Fest Ohio, Zimmerman led the crowd in prayer following a medical emergency of a fan.
Midway through his set, a group of concertgoers alerted the “Rock and A Hard Place” singer to a situation in the crowd by flashing their cell phone lights in his direction. A fan had reportedly passed out and needed medical attention.
“Hey, let’s cut it real quick…” Zimmerman said to his band, bringing the concert to a halt.
In a clip posted to TikTok, event staff can be seen helping the individual out of the crowd and towards the care of medical personnel. The singer continued:
“We take safety really, really seriously here, y’all. So we just want to make sure somebody’s alright over here, everybody.”
Once the fan was safely escorted away from the stands, Zimmerman addressed the crowd again.
“God bless all y’all man, you guys stay safe out there alright. If you guys wouldn’t mind, you guys want to do a quick prayer for everybody real quick?”
He bowed his head and led the audience in prayer.
“Dear Lord, we are so grateful, we’re so grateful for your love and your grace. We’re so thankful for your son’s ultimate sacrifice to allow us to live within that grace and within that love and know that no matter what we do and who we are you love us, and you give us grace, and we’re just thankful for that. Thank you for all the people here. Thank you for Ohio, thank you, Lord, for Ohio. Man, just God bless all these people, I know they’re good people. So, man, it’s in your name we pray and play. Amen.”
