Bon Jovi To Release “Legendary Edition” Of Forever Album

With a little help from some famous friends, including Jelly Roll, Bon Jovi is remaking their 2024 album, Forever.

Forever is the 16th studio album released by the iconic rock band Bon Jovi. The 12-track album was released in June 2024 and took the world by storm.

Forever peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and reached #2 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart. It also experienced chart success in Australia, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, the UK, and more.

Now, just one year later, Bon Jovi is releasing a “legendary edition” of Forever on October 24. According to the band’s website, the new edition features reimagined renditions of “every song on the album with an array of some of the world’s most revered and innovative artists who are also friends of the band.”

Some of the artists who collaborated with Bon Jovi on the project include Jason Isbell, The War & Treaty, Lainey Wilson, Marcus King, Bruce Springsteen, and Jelly Roll.

The album also includes a brand-new track, “Red, White and Jersey,” which Bon Jovi released on August 29. Watch its official music video below

Jelly Roll And Bon Jovi Share New Version Of “Living Proof”

Then, on September 26, Bon Jovi released their updated version of Forever’s “Living Proof.” The reimagined track features rapper-turned-country-star Jelly Roll.

Jelly Roll jumps in on the second verse, which includes the lyrics:

“Close your eyes and tell me what you think you see. Is faith and hope enough to make a fool believe? Is there anything left for a sinner like me?“

Bon Jovi and Jelly Roll’s high-energy collaboration was a fast hit with fans. Comments on YouTube praised the pairing, saying:

“Love this collaboration. Love you guys both. Glad to hear Bon Jovi singing again.”

Jelly Roll previously honored Jon Bon Jovi at the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year Gala. During the ceremony, he sang Bon Jovi’s “Bad Medicine,” and he and Jon struck up a friendship. That friendship led to their new collaboration.
