The Kelly Clarkson Show Is Set To Make Its Return This Fall
The Kelly Clarkson Show’s seventh season is officially set to begin this September!
NBC announced on Wednesday (September 3) that the daytime talk show will return on Monday, September 29, with production beginning the week of September 8.
The season’s opening week will reportedly include a heartfelt tribute to the heroes who stepped in during the recent Texas floods, according to a press release.
“This season, fans can look forward to more entertaining panel interviews, exclusive celebrity moments, surprise musical performances and the return of the wildly popular ‘Kellyoke’ segment, where Clarkson highlights extraordinary emerging and established artists and delivers show-stopping covers of hits spanning every genre, backed by her band, Y’All,” the release reads. “Clarkson has performed more than 800 genre-spanning covers, from current chart-toppers to timeless classics, earning millions of views online and accolades from the original artists themselves.”
Fans can expect to see guest appearances from Emily Blunt, Marion Cotillard, Colin Farrell, Scarlett Johansson, Dwayne Johnson, Matthew McConaughey, Lionel Richie, Julia Roberts, Shonda Rhimes, Margot Robbie, Sylvester Stallone, Channing Tatum, Reese Witherspoon, and more.

Kelly Returns After The Death Of Her Ex-Husband Brandon
The season will begin just weeks after Kelly lost her ex-husband and father to her two children, Brandon Blackstock.
In recent months, Kelly stepped away from her career multiple times to focus on her children. In March, she unexpectedly missed 10 tapings of her show, sparking concern among fans.
Although she didn’t publicly explain her absence upon returning, Kelly made it clear that she took time off to support her and Brandon Blackstock’s children during a difficult period.
“It was kind of a dark week for me and my family, and I got to preview the movie with them. It was such an exciting thing. So I just wanted to say thank you. It brought my kids out of, like, a sad time to like, just a normal kind of time,“ Kelly said at the time while speaking to the stars of The Minecraft Movie, who were guests on her show.
One day before news broke that Brandon died, Kelly also announced the postponement of multiple shows in her Studio Sessions residency in Las Vegas.
“Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas,” she said. “While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them.”
