Al-Nassr Ready to Turn to Deal for ‘Outstanding’ Arsenal Star
Al-Nassr could now turn their attention to signing Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli after struggling to land their top target, GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed on the Market Madness podcast.
The Saudi Arabian transfer window opened today (Thursday), 17 days early, and clubs in the Premier League, including Arsenal will be bracing for interest in some of their players. Some of Europe’s biggest stars have already made their way to the Middle East, and we could see more make their move in the coming weeks and months.
Al-Nassr Could Turn to Gabriel Martinelli
Arsenal don’t want to sell
GIVEMESPORT sources have confirmed that Al-Nassr are set for a big July after their summer transfer window was brought forward. The Saudi FA opened the window early to allow Al-Hilal to register the signing of Al-Shabab striker Abderrazak Hamdallah on loan. Cristiano Ronaldo will now play a big part in Al-Nassr’s recruitment strategy after he was given equity in the club as part of his new contract.

The Saudi club are focusing on bringing in a left-winger, striker, and holding midfielder as they look to strengthen in three key areas this summer. Al-Nassr’s attention could now turn to Arsenal’s Martinelli as Liverpool are insisting that Luis Diaz, their top target, is not for sale, with their stance firm on a potential exit.
Al-Nassr have requested central funding of €85m in order to make a bid. Whether that’s for Martinelli, Diaz or another attacker remains to be seen, and Arsenal haven’t had any contact with Nassr to date.
Martinelli has been described as ‘outstanding’ by Breaking The Lines, but Arsenal also don’t really want to sell their forward. Sources have confirmed, however, that they could be persuaded as this would help fund a potential move to sign Real Madrid winger Rodrygo or Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon.

Amadou Onana Another Target for Al-Nassr
They’ve also looked at Kudus
Sources have also confirmed to GIVEMESPORT that Aston Villa midfielder Amadou Onana is another target for the Saudi Pro League side. Nassr, Al-Ahli, and NEOM are also among the clubs to have been offered Leicester City’s Wilfried Ndidi, who has a £9m release clause in his contract.
Al-Nassr also want to bring in a new attacker to replace Jhon Duran, with West Ham United’s Mohammed Kudus and Victor Boniface two profiles looked at. Nassr almost signed Boniface before deciding to go for Duran instead.
Kudus has a £120m release clause for Saudi clubs, while Tottenham Hotspur are exploring a move. West Ham would sell for around £60-65m with the right structure.
